Unveiling the Truth

There are billions of galaxies and countless planets; it seems almost too big to comprehend. Yet, despite this truth, many still believe that life is limited only to Earth (Kennedy and Lau). A United States Intelligence report shows that 35% of Americans don’t believe in life off Earth (Kennedy and Lau). There are many well-documented events offering evidence to support the existence of aliens (Janos). “The mystery of Area 51 and the Roswell incident of 1947 have fueled speculation and generated numerous conspiracy theories, with many believing these events provide evidence of alien encounters” (Schonfeld and Robison). Area 51 is a classified military base in Nevada. It has long been associated with “rumors of alien spacecraft and bodies being stored and studied in secrecy” (Griffith). The Roswell incident of 1947 involves “the crash of an unidentified object near Roswell, New Mexico; it led to suspicions of alien life and sparked rumors of a government cover-up” (Robison). Both of these theories have been widely researched and scrutinized, believers claim they provide strong evidence for the existence of extraterrestrial life. (Schonfeld and Robison; Griffith). Both occurrences inspire controversial theories that life beyond Earth does exist. Analysis of these events clearly demonstrates the existence of aliens.
